I saw an ebay auction where the seller said that magic eraser would remove ink marks. I had a thrift store doll that looked like she had a prison tattoo so i tried it. She's a very scary doll but the magic eraser didn't work. Did i do something wrong? I tried to clean her with Fantastic first.

It depends on whether the ink has set in to the vinyl or not. If it hasn't, then a Mr Clean magic Eraser might remove the marks, but if it has, I think the Oxy10 method is what works. One word of caution though, the Mr Clean Eraser will take paint off your doll, and not just piant scuffs, but the face paint too. Don't use it on the lips cheeks or eyebrows.

I heard that putting an acne cream on the skin might help. You would have to put it on in a big glob over the area, cover it up with plastic so it didn't dry up( This makes it work faster too I think), and apply it every day if you didn't cover it with plastic wrap.

I think I saw some one do this in a album where they were making over a Samantha doll.
